It did take awhile to put together but I was able to complete it in about 4 hours. Lots of pieces but the instructions are very well laid out. As long as you follow each step in order, it comes together beautifully. The pieces feel sturdy and overall, the tower functions well. The drawers all glide smoothly and the turning mechanism works very nicely. My only complaint is that the bottom shelf of the glitter wall is very narrow and cannot hold a standard size glitter shaker.
